OPEN POSITIONS

Grades 7–12 Science Teacher

The Margolin Hebrew Academy - Cooper Yeshiva of the South is looking for a full-time Junior High and High School Science Teacher to teach multiple science courses, possibly including Middle School Science, Biology, Anatomy, and Physics.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree and teaching experience preferred
  • Proficiency in educational technology
  • Experience supervising and maintaining a school lab is a plus
  • Willingness to contribute to the school beyond the classroom

High School Jewish History, Thought & Israel Studies Teacher

MHA-CYOS is seeking a High School Jewish History, Thought, and Israel Studies Teacher who is passionate about Jewish learning, Am Yisrael, and helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage deeply with Jewish history and contemporary Jewish life.

Qualified candidates will:

  • Have experience teaching Jewish History, Jewish Thought, or Israel Studies at the high school level
  • Demonstrate strong content knowledge and comfort working with primary sources and modern Jewish thought
  • Design engaging, rigorous lessons promoting analysis, discussion, and evidence-based argumentation
  • Foster a classroom culture grounded in middot tovot, intellectual honesty, and respectful discourse
  • Inspire students to see themselves as active members of Am Yisrael

Lower School Rebbi / Morah

The MHA-CYOS is seeking a lower school Judaic Studies Rebbi/Morah who is passionate about Torah learning, Jewish life, and nurturing the next generation of young Bnot and Bnei Torah.

Qualified candidates will:

  • Have experience teaching Judaic Studies in an elementary school setting
  • Possess strong textual and Judaic knowledge appropriate for the elementary level
  • Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in designing engaging, meaningful lessons
  • Foster a warm, positive classroom atmosphere rooted in Torah values
  • Inspire a love for learning, mitzvot, and connection to Am and Eretz Yisrael
